She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Monroe Sr. and Della Stewart Creel; her husband Carl Speegle; her son Jerry Creel; and her siblings, Bessie Mae Creel and Joe Monroe Creel Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Devine and Tommy Lee Speegle; and her grandchildren, Larry Devine Jr. (Mildred), Michelle Daniel (Tony) and Chris Devine. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
