It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Lewis Maxfield of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lewis and Pearl Rainey Lewis; her husband Dr. Burton Gilman Maxfield; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Maxfield; and her sister Shirley Bland.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry N. Maxfield (Cecilia) of Decatur, AL. and Robert G. Maxfield of Abingdon, Maryland; her grandson Michael A Maxfield of South Carolina; and her niece Diane Bland of Alberta, VA.. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cullman First Baptist Church Building Fund.
