He is survived by: his siblings, Clyde Patterson, John "Jabo" Patterson, Josh Patterson and Orene Bynum; his siblings-in-law, Earl Bynum, Diane Patterson and Jean Patterson; his wife Gearldine Harris Patterson; his daughter Cecilia Darlene Lynch (Tony); his grandchildren, Staci Bryan, Jami Phillips, Ami Phillips and Lacey Lynch; his great grandchildren, Alliyah McGriff, Dalton Bryan, Gavin Phillips, Pyper Shaw, Ashton Shiloh McCluskie and Zaius Byrd; and his sister Lucille West of Ovie Coffman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
