He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Freeman and Hilda Freeman; his grandparents, Boss, Loice Wood, Willis and Ethel Tucker; and his daughter Amy Freeman Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Vogel Freeman; his daughter Meredith Middlebrooks (Jeff); his grandchildren, Clay, Maggie Williams, Eliza and Thomas Middlebrooks; his sister Carolyn Peinhardt (Bill); his nephew Clint Peinhardt (Anne); and his nieces, Lanie Williamson (Jeb) and Rachel Dawsey (Wesley). He is also survived by several cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
