He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joles and Jenny Lee Joles; and his son Alfred "Fred" Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Helen Joles; his children, Bo "Sackey" Jr. Joles (Rachel) and Freda Steel (Tom); his grandchildren, Bo Joles, ZoE Joles, Jet Joles, Vegas Joles, Sundie Steel and Snow Steel; and his siblings, Audrey Green and Matthew Joles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
