It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Frances Poeppelmeier of Dadeville, Alabama, born in Greenville, Alabama, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Jim Poeppelmeier; her parents, Ruben Lowery and Frances Lowery; her siblings, Mattie Lou Lowery Bryan, Charles Lowery, Dan Lowery (Betty) and Harvey Lowery; her great-nephew Taylor Lowery; her siblings-in-law, Toney Bryan and Susie Lowery; and her nieces and nephews, Susan Bryan, Stacey Bryan (Bob Stallman), Tim Bryan (Heather), Ricky Lowery (Melissa), Stewart Lowery, Tom Lowery (Terri), Trent Lowery (Josephine) and Dan Lowery (Kelly).

The family requests that masks be worn following Covid protocol.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations celebrating Frances and her legacy may be made to faith-based organizations working to share God's love, to any organization providing food and compassion to others, or to the charity of your choice.

“To the family - we are so sad to hear of Frances passing. We were not aware of this until today. Ms Frances was extra special to my uncle Fred and we were drawn to her loving and giving spirit. We were so appreciated of her love for uncle Fred and he deeply cared for her up until his passing. We know he greeted her at that pearly gates along with her husband Jim.
