She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Long and Ruby Long; and her daughters, Lisa Birdsell and Angel Brakfield. She is survived by : her husband John Brakfield; her sons, Steve Brakfield (Brenda) and Richard Birdsell (Stacey); her grandchildren, Zac Brakfield (Monica), Sydney Brown (Hunter), Bryant Birdsell and Adam Birdsell; her great grandchildren, Cruz and Carter Brakfield; and her sister Leldrene Lacy.
