He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Otha, Audrey Layton, Jerry Pope and Archie Pope; his uncles, Tom Pope and Bill Layton; and his aunt Bobbe Layton Lavendar.
He is survived by: his parents, George Thomas and Dianne Pope Layton of Bay Minette, AL; his sister Audrey Layton Goolsby (Matthew) of Trussville, AL; his nephew Jackson Goolsby; and his aunt Virginia Pope McNeece (Don) of Brandon, MS. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
