Georgia Jeanette Post Obituary
Mrs. Georgia Jeanette Post age 91, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Drew Watts officiating. The interment will follow at Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Post was a member of Pine Level United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by her sons J.L. Post (Miriam), Bobby Gene Post (Julie), daughter Barbara Creel (James), brother Pete Glenn, sister Betty Mcvey (Ed), nine grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Powell, Jordan Powell, Braylin Lewis, Kevin Cartee, Ray Cartee, James Creel and Alan Post.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Creel, Terry Creel, Larry Bice, Charles Benton, Jeff Lewis and David Powell. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium and Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, AL directing. Mask are encouraged for the service at the funeral home.
