He was predeceased by : his parents, Laurel Marlow Mays and Lou Anne Poe Mays. He is survived by : his wife Anita Mays; his daughter Amanda Mays Jordan (Michael); his grandchildren, Laurel Mays and Josh Mays; his sister Jo Ann Payne (Donald); his niece Michelle Milhoan (Stewart); and his nephew Michael Payne (Alexandra).
