She was predeceased by : her father Joseph Elton; her brother Joseph Elton; and her nephew Christopher. She is survived by : her mother Patricia Ann; and her siblings, Melba Cannon (James), Nancy Gonzales, Joseph Wayne and Donnie Ray Freeman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
