She was predeceased by: her parents, Jones Varner and Rilla Logan Varner; her sons, Timothy Daughtery and Jeffrey Lynn Daughtery; and her siblings, Clarence Varner, Raymond Varner, Morris Varner, Cecil Varner, Velma Mullins, Jessie Mae McCord, Clara Nell Gibson and Betty Culpepper.
She is survived by: her daughter Flora Merle Prater of Deatsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Kimberley Hicks (David) of Deatsville, Tony Prater (Emilee) of Kathleen, Georgia, Shawna Shisler (Kenneth) of Crestview, Gordon Ross Daughtery of Fort Worth, Kayla McClelland (Randall) of DeFuniak Springs and Jessica Lewis (Codi) of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and her close friend Glen Grondine of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and one great – great grandchild.
