It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joseph Scanlan Jr. of Deatsville, Alabama, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Charlotte Scanlan; his son Wade Scanlan; his parents, Dot Piel and Bill Scanlan Sr. (Shirley); his brother Mark Scanlan; his stepbrother Jared Shaw (Kristy); his father-in-law Emory Pierpont (Donna); and his brother-in-law Brandon Pierpont (Tamara). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elmore County Humane Shelter or charity of your choice.
