She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Winfield and Lessie Ezell Winfield; and her siblings, Herman Winfield, Addie Loyce Norrell, Annie Merle Mooney and Imogene Winfield.

She is survived by : her husband Jimmy Lee Cooper; her children, Daryl Cooper (BJ), Gregory Cooper (Tonya), Regina Wesson (Billy) and Debra Stice (Tim); and her brother James Winfield. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
