It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Bynum (Decatur, Alabama), who passed away on November 29, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jodie Bynum and Berzina Orr Bynum; and his daughter Lashonda McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Cora Gill-Bynum of Decatur; his children, Timothy Smith (Leslie) of Decatur, Renada Petry (Vernell) of Spokane, WA and Rashonda McDaniel of Decatur; his aunt Erin Jean Herring (Dwight) of Hartselle; and his siblings-in-law, Wille Mae Gill Reynolds of Decatur and Pastor Grady Gill of Decatur. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, other relatives and friends.
