She was predeceased by : her parents, John C. Ruckle and Martha T. Ruckle; her husband Robert L. Williams; her brother Johnny Ruckle; and her son Robert H. Williams (Fran).

She is survived by : her siblings, Ken Ruckle (Carol) and Marty Loden (Steve); her sons, D. Charles Williams (Dru Ann) and Kenneth L. (Wendy); her grandchildren, Christopher Williams (Andrea), David Williams, Bobby Williams, Jody Williams, Craig Williams (Jenna), Jenna Lombardi (Andrew), Holland Williams, Grayson Williams and Jacob Williams (AJ); and her great grandchildren, Hank Williams, Aaron Lombari, Clare Lombardi, Layne Lombardi and Caroline Williams.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mackey Funerals and Cremations (311 Century Dr, Greenville, SC 29607). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to Duke Health in memory of Betty to support of the Lung Transplant Director's Fund.
