She was predeceased by: her parents, Bervie Elmer "Bud" Knighten and Annie Ruth Raper Knighten; and her siblings, Kenneth, Wanda, Patricia and Ray.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Gene Laymon; her children, Marvin McGee Laymon and Betty Renee Davis; her stepson Jeremy Laymon; her brother Wesley Knighten; her grandchildren, April Ledlow, Josh Davis and Leah Sapp; and her great grandchildren, Jasmin Holmes, Kaylee Holmes, Savannah Ledlow, Whitlee Sapp, Ella Sapp, Houston Sapp, Journee Sapp, Karter McDaniel and Nolan Milam.
