She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Talmadge Green, Sr. and Betsy Jane Green; and also Dewitt Talmadge Green, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James Mitchell Blackwood; her daughters, Patti Lovelady (Rob) and Cathy Bodley (Greg); her granddaughter Carrie Bonham (Steven); her great grandchildren, Brady Bonham, Cooper Bonham and Kenzie Bonham; and her sister Emily Shelton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Austinville United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Valley.
