He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolton Buckelew and Betty Buckelew; and his grandparents, Ellis of Hartselle, Imma Buckelew of Hartselle, Arcue of Hartselle and Ocie Yeager of Hartselle.

He is survived by: his children, Brandon Ellis Buckelew and Taylor Buckelew; and his brothers, Ricky Buckelew of Madison, AL and Terry Buckelew.
