He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurney Ray and Sarah Nell Cheatham Osborne, Sr.; and his siblings, Patricia Ann Reid and Sterling Dannie Osborne, Sr.. He is survived by: his son Eric Osborne Smith (Ale); his grandson Gray Smith; his brother Mark Osborne (Joann); and his sister-in-law Lawanda Lynn Osborne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel (2105 Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
