She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Stanley and Zelda Willis Stanley; her husband Fred; her daughter Julie Blackwell; her grandson Matthew Swearengin; and her siblings, Harold Stanley, Betty Sippel and Rose Brooks.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Mullins (Sandy) and Jane Swearengin (Larry); and her siblings, Bobby Stanley, James Stanley (Debbie), Nona Cantrell (Guy) and Mona Brommer (Cliff).
