We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Herman Edward Karst Jr. of Decatur, Alabama. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Karst and Vivian Karst. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Karst; his son Eddie Karst; his granddaughter Hermione Karst; and his sisters, Elizabeth Karst, Joyce Thompson (Nolin), Josephine Robbins and Sandra Martin (Tim). He is also survived by in laws, nieces, and nephews.

Karst served with Decatur Jaycees, Fairboard, and retired from G. E. The family requests that everyone practice social distancing and please wear a mask.
