He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Owen; and his parents, Elgin C. Owen and Addie Lemay Owen. He is survived by: his sons, Alan Owen (Kayce) and Steve Owen (Smile); his sisters, Helen Bowers and Elizabeth Gargis; and his friend Shirley Hartsfield. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
