With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Reid Pittman (Decatur, Alabama), born in Auburn, Alabama, who passed away on October 1, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Pittman and Nina Dean Pittman; and his siblings, Ralph, Harold, Judson, Lyman and Louise Nix.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his son David; his daughter-in-law Lauri; his stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Jade; and his sisters, Mary Banks and Jennie Payne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
