He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Gable Hill; his parents, Floyd J. Hill and Adelia Gillespie Hill; and his siblings, Arnold Hill, Eugene Hill, Quinton Max Hill, Helen Schooler, Opal Terry and Naomi Ellis Jahr.
He is survived by: his brother Kermit Hill; his sons, Douglas Hill (Barbara) and Timothy Hill (Patricia); his stepson Ronald Zills of Jackson, MI; his daughter Freda Wright (Roy); and his stepdaughter Mary Jane Dunham. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
