She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Jeffreys of Decatur; her daughter Tracy Sammond (Michael) of Braselton, GA; her sisters, Betty Jean Bates LeCroix (Bobby) of Athens, Mary Jane Bates Smith (Syd) of Melbourne, FL, Elaine Bates Reece (Jerry) of Athens and Paulette Bates Miller of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Lauren Byrd of Braselton, GA., Tristan Byrd of Braselton, GA. and Garet Byrd of Braselton, GA..
