She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Alexander and Lessie England Alexander; her husband Talmadge H. Higgins; her daughter Janet Gargis; and her granddaughter Stacey Gargis.
She is survived by: her son Charles Wayne Bowling (Marilyn) of Muscle Shoals; her brother Randall Alexander; and her grandsons, Michael, Matthew and Nicholas Bowling. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and other friends and extended family.
