We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2022, at the age of 79, Admiral Wayne Benton of Dothan, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Admiral Dewey and Corine White Benton; and his siblings, Barbara Waters, Sylvia McNab, Quida Bolin, Betty Glover, Sarah McKee, Burns Benton and Jimmy Benton.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Horne Benton of Dothan; his daughter Wendy Benton Tatom (Mil) of Dothan; his brother Billy Benton (Joyce) of Dothan; and his friend Doni Pitcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
All social distancing and masking guidelines should be observed for those attending.
