He was predeceased by: his wife Clarice Hodges; his parents, Albert Leamon Hodges, Sr. and Verna Bradley Hodges; and his siblings, Charles Wilson Hodges, Jean Torrence and Evelyn Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Xylorose Crowder (late Robert Crowder) and Valerie Moore (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Robert Eric Crowder, Ritchie Ellis Crowder, Valiece Moore McKelvy (Ashton) and Ralston Moore (Anna Marie). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
