He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Palmer and Willie Mae Parks Palmer; and his brother Bill Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Pat Palmer; his children, Tina White, June Rowland and Al Jr. (Stacey); and his stepchildren, Scott and Linda Stoll.
