He is survived by: his wife Jackie Segrest; his sons, Seth Segrest (Jennifer) and Ben Segrest (Harriett); his stepchildren, DeLana Jaggars (Ben), Kimberly Trawick (Jonathan) and Kristina Holland; his grandchildren, Justin Segrest, Claire Segrest and Cody Hamm; his sister Susan Cox (Johnny); and his siblings-in-law, Harold Merritt, Wayne Brackin (Linda), Steve Brackin (Felecia), Patty Segrest and Charlotte Miller (Kenneth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
