He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clinton McCathern and Josephine Worley McCathern; and his siblings, Aquila F. McCathern and Ada Lee McCathern. He is survived by: his wife Glenda E. McCathern of Dothan; his children, Prudence M. Davis (John) of Dothan, Arvin W. McCathern, Jr. (Angel) of Dothan and Audy D. McCathern (Maureen) of Chattanooga, TN; his sister Ila Sue Woodall of Ramer, AL; and his grandchildren, Samantha McCathern, Max McCathern, Lexie Davis and Carlie Davis. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
