It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Faye Hanners of Dothan, Alabama, born in Wauchula, Florida, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Leatherwood and Carolyn Leatherwood; her children, Ross Brett Sawyer and Carletta Sawyer; and her brother Howard Leatherwood.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brooke Duby (Anthony) of Dothan and Tiffany Keyes (Chris) of Slocomb; her grandchildren, Caleb, Charlesy, Tristan, Zach, Acacia, Lia, Aden and Atlas; her daughter-in-law Hannah Sawyer; her sister-in-law Jennie Branton of Taylor; her aunt Patsy Clearman of Dothan; and her brothers, Max Earle of Abbeville and Gary Earle of Newville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Memphis Baptist Church, 4595 Eddins Road, Dothan, Alabama 36301.
