She is survived by: her daughter Kristie Hamil Whatley; her granddaughter Kara Nicole Whatley; her sibling's children, Terry Wayne Benefield (Donna), Leo Bellew (Angela), Vickie Gray Swenson (Jerry), Rita Bellew Negron and Belinda Lyn Bellew Acereto; and her close friend L. Smitherman (Kiki).
