He is survived by: his wife Glenda Creel Borener; his daughter Elizabeth B. Smith (Mark); his stepchildren, Sandy Brown (Perry) and David Burdeshaw (Tracie) of Columbia; his daughters-in-law, Lisa Burdeshaw Enterprise and Debbie Borener of Black, AL; and his brothers, John Borener, Thomas Borener (Theresa) and Martin Borener (Julie).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends take a small child fishing.
