He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curtis and Fannie Allene Mills Simmons; his brother Tony Simmons; and his grandson Dustin Bourgeois. He is survived by: his wife Roxie Simmons; his children, Cydia Simmons and Bobby Curtis Simmons, Jr. (Patricia); his grandchildren, Bobby Curtis Simmons, III, Taylor Bourgeois, Dylan Bourgeois, Bradon Ogburn and Deanna Hudson; and his aunt Jenelle Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
