She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Adams and Willela Adams; and her husband Allen Waid. She is survived by: her children, Celeste Cooper (Marion), Charles Waid (Amy) and Catherine Johnson (Chuck); her grandchildren, Amanda Turvin, Catie Cooper, Rinnie Cooper, Callie Fold (Eric), Tommy Cooper, Sydney Carter (Cole), Claire Waid, Ella Pruitt, Lillie Pruitt, Paul Pearce, Brooks Pearce, Jessica Kohn (Brandon) and Charlie Johnson; and her cousins, Ann Morton, Edward Witherington, Charlotte Adams Reeves and Joe Adams. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Respite Care Ministry at First United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Resource Center of Dothan.
