He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie B. Hughes and Jessie Mae Hughes; and his son Marty Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Patti Williamson (Benny), Susan Miller (Lamar) and Scott Hughes (Donna); his grandchildren, Brad Davis (Kimberly), Morgan Williamson, Brittney Phillips (Bryant), Haley Hughes, Hannah Hughes and Olivia Hughes; and his great grandchild Brodie Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Foy Strickland Sunday School Class at Southside Baptist Church in honor of Wilton Hughes.
