He is survived by: his son Charles "Chuck" Ryder, Jr.; his grandchildren, Carson Clifford, Tyler Ryder, Colby Ridge, Shane Ridge and Celeste Ryder; and his sisters, Katherine Rose Shevlin and Susan LaForge (Florence "Bea" Babcock).
