He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Tharpe and Lois Tharpe (Salters); and his sisters, Elise Rogers, Margaret Adams, Betty Tharpe and Pat Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Voncile Tharpe (Alsobrook); his children, Chuck Tharpe (Denise) and Stacey Brown (Rusty); his siblings, Colin Tharpe, Wynell Burke and Sara Allen; and his grandchildren, Krystal Terry (Matt), Ashley Strickland (Cody), Chaes Tharpe (Samantha), Britton Brown (Marisa) and Steven Watson (Jozie). He is also survived by five great-granddaughters, along with many nephews, nieces, and loving family members.
