He was predeceased by: his parents, C. R. McKee and Lois McKee; and his son Bruce Howard McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Leila Payne McKee of Dothan; his siblings, Jimmy McKee of Dothan, Mike McKee of Dothan and Barbara McKee of Alford, FL; and his sons, Jason McKee (Kami) of Chelsea, John Spencer (Stacie) of Uriah and Devin McDaniel (Danielle) of Eufaula.
