He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Gordan Tye, Sr. and Annie Jo Money Baldwin; and his brother William H. Tye. He is survived by: his uncle Charlie; his aunt Doris Clark; his fiancée Millie Roberts; and his sibling's children, Debra Monday (Matthew), Kelli Tye-Carpenter (Nick), Brooke Tye, Jason McSwain (Melissa) and Marcus Tye.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus, a family graveside will be held at 4:00 P. M. Wednesday, April 22, 2020, in the Shorterville Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Johnny Suggs officiating.
