She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings Earl Smith and Jennette Smith; and her sister Gloria Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Randy Speigner of Midland City; her daughters, Shena Hicks of Wicksburg and Misty Kelley (Zane) of Wicksburg; her stepdaughter Talisa Hatcher (Jeremy) of Slocomb; her grandchildren, Zeke Kelly, Ella Grace Kelley and Zaven Spires; her stepgrandchildren, Hanna Hatcher, Leah Hatcher and James Hatcher; and her nephew Juston Carpenter (April).
