She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Young (James), April Brooks (Davis) and Anthony Brooks (Louella); her grandchildren, Jamal Brooks, TaHeisha Frazier (Jamal), Vakel Baker, Desmond Collins, Allyson Reed (Eric), Ayanna Brooks, Antwuan Brooks, Diamond Brooks, Jatavious Jackson, Anthony Brooks Jr., Anesiah Brooks, Kaleah Phillip and Alexandria Dozier; her great grandchildren, JaQuavion, Emery, JaKayzia, Jakylen, Travious and Ken; her siblings, Benjamin Brooks, Deborah Brooks and Thelma Thompson; her siblings' children, Shelia Lee, Ben Jr., Patrick Brooks, Ricky and Calvin Brooks; her close friends, Yolanda, Nicki and Charlene; and also, Mary, Shelia, Daisey Jackson, Angie, Benita, Earnest, Vickers, Dorothy Chambers and Takeeba Duncan.
