He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Eddie" Black and Rubye Irene Gordon Black. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Black; his son Sean Black (Hannah); his grandchildren, Aiden, Noah and Grace Black of Birmingham; and his sisters, Helen Goodrum of Thomasville, GA and Cheryl Wells (Greg) of Deatsville, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 1231 Fortner Street, Dothan, AL 36301.
