It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Floyd McKnight of Dothan, Alabama, born in Newton, Alabama, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell F. McKnight and Bertie Mae Andrews McKnight; and his siblings, Rebecca Turner, James Roy McKnight and Emmett Lewis McKnight.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carter McKnight; his daughters, Donna Trimnel (Don) and Tammy Thompson (Chris); his grandchildren, Tiffany Alley (Jeremy), Savannah McCoy (Josh), Benjamin Trimnel (Ashley) and Paeton Henderson (Eric); his great grandchildren, Emelyn Alley, Fields McCoy, Noah Alley, Sutton McCoy and Shepard McCoy; his siblings, Dennis McKnight (Carol) and Joette Bankston (Bob); and his grandsons, Tucker Thompson, Tate Thompson, Jeremy Alley, Josh McCoy and Eric Henderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
