She was predeceased by: her husbands, John Gary Thornton and Danny Bryant Barefoot; her parents, Arthur Lewis Cannon and Josephine Godwin Cannon; and her siblings, Arthur Lewis Cannon, Jr. and Virginia Cannon Crenshaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tiffiney Cole and Laney Hatcher (Chris); her stepchildren, Marcie Jenkins (Haston) and Dan Barefoot; her siblings, David Cannon (Rose), Vivian Stewart and Jeanne Martin (Buddy); and her grandsons, Randall Austin Cole and Farron Wyatt Hatcher.
