She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Brown and Artie Brown; her husband Fred Halstead; her son Paul Brown; her brother Gene; and her sister-in-law Jean Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Celia Baggett (Wayne) of Pinkard, AL and Jane Weatherly (Terry); her daughter-in-law Susan Halstead of Fairhope, AL; and her grandchildren, Charles Creel III (Michele) of Tallassee, AL, Bob Creel of Montgomery, AL, Andrew Halstead of Jackson, MS, Tony Weatherly (Meagan) of Deer Park, TX, Elizabeth Woodham (David) of Headland, AL, Diane Calhoun (Gregory) of Colquitt, GA and Hayley Halstead of Kirkland, WA. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
