With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Gray Pitman Jr. of Dothan, Alabama, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl, Sr. Pitman and Audrey Chenoweth Pitman; and his siblings, Tommy Pitman and Pat Pitman McClendon. He is survived by: his wife Delayne Riley Pitman; his children, Earl Pitman, III (Dewane) and Dr. Pamela Pitman Brown (Wayne) of Albany, GA; his grandchildren, Riley Pitman Olney (Doug) of Birmingham, AL, Thompson Pitman of Dothan, Millie Pitman of Dothan, J. T. Spivey of South Africa, Layne Brown of Mobile, Ava Brown of Albany, GA and Audrey Brown of Albany, GA; and his sister Joy Pitman Johnson (Doug). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
