He is survived by: his wife Gloria Allen; his children, Tina Allen, Palisha Allen, Lishell Allen and Don McCree; his grandchildren, Kambrynn, Kayden Bone (Palisha) and Jaydon McCree (Lishell); his siblings, Mattie Barber, Clemmie Lee, Jerome Allen, Jean McNealy (Bruce), Leon Allen, Marvin Allen, Melvin Allen (Martha), Robert Rogers and Eleanor Barber; his aunt Mammie James; and his close friends, Joe Brantley (Edna) and David Holt. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
